Product launch from the 130th anniversary of Salubrin
Salubrin is launching two skincare products in the fall of 2023, as part of the brand's 130th anniversary celebrations. Since 1893, Salubrin has had a natural place in the household pharmacy with protective and soothing products. This fall, a new segment, CARE, will be launched with the products Salubrin SOS Ointment and Salubrin SOS Lip Balm.
Salubrin has its roots in Eslöv, Skåne. Here, Dr. Per Håkansson started the production of Salubrin Concentrated Solution, a product that is still appreciated today for its soothing properties. Since 2021, the brand is owned by Pharmaxim AB, with headquarters in Landskrona. Caroline Hansson-Gladh is product manager and has run the project to develop the two new skin care products.
"Many people, like myself, have a relationship with Salubrin. It is a strong brand that we at Pharmaxim have the honor to manage. When we now launch our new products, we do so with quality and long-term focus," says Caroline Hansson-Gladh.
Salubrin SOS Ointment and Salubrin SOS Lip Balm are both designed specifically for the Nordic climate. They repair dry and cracked skin with their nourishing properties. They are dermatologically tested and the active ingredients are carefully selected to be effective while also being suitable for sensitive skin.
- The fact that the products work for all skin, even the sensitive baby skin, has been an important part of the work, Caroline continues. As a mother of two daughters, I have often been in need of a nourishing ointment for both me and my children. For example, SOS Ointment contains an extra high level of dexpanthenol and SOS Lip Balm is water-free. These are products that I myself long for and am proud to launch under the Salubrin brand.
The two new products are part of the care segment, which complements Salubrin's existing segments SKYDDA and LINDRA. They will be available in pharmacies from week 34, but from week 32, press representatives will be able to order samples.
