Virkon™S - Disease prevention hygiene and infection control
Virkon™S is a broad spectrum disinfectant with virucidal, bactericidal and fungicidal action for infection control in agriculture and forestry. Virkon™S is effective against all 18 known virus families affecting animals and humans. Regular use provides effective protection against many families of viruses and bacteria, including Adenovirus, E. Coli, Salmonella and MRSA.

Strong infection control without development of resistance
Virkon™Sworks by penetrating the microorganisms and destroying cell membranes. This means that a very effective and controlled disinfection is obtained that prevents the development of resistance. Read more under documentation.
Virkon™Sis available in different forms:
- Easily soluble tablet that dissolves in a spray bottle and is then suitable for disinfecting, for example, examination tables, dog, cat or bird cages, tools or other equipment.
- Powder that is dissolved in water and then sprayed with a backpack sprayer, low pressure washer or other suitable equipment on the item to be disinfected.
Disinfectants with ECOCert label
Virkon™S may be used for the cleaning and disinfection of stables, buildings and equipment, as well as storage/storage areas according to Regulation (EC) No 834/2007 on organic production. Always follow national regulations on disinfection in organic production.
New rules on animal health responsibility and prevention
