J2/Ewodip
Bacteria present on the teat skin and in the environment around the udder can very easily enter through the mouth of the teat canal after milking before the teat canal has time to close. The teat canal does not close until about 30 minutes after milking. If bacteria get in, they can spread further up the udder and cause mastitis.
The teats are dipped or sprayed with J2/Ewodip immediately after milking.
